Clear Lake is one of the most desirable and cleanest lakes in the Midwest. Water visibility has been measured as high as 39' in the spring. Clear Lake is renowned for it's exclusive homes, clean water, sandy bottom, fishing, sailing and skiing in an un-congested setting. It features a large island with sandy beaches where everyone can have fun.
You will find Clear Lake is less developed than many other lakes, so it isn't as busy with large numbers of boaters and related activities.
Clear Lake is also great for biking as the 6.3 mile road completely encompasses the lake and has only a 25 MPH speed limit.
